Indian Brides; let's call them
Bollywood brides. The traditional colors of Reds, Bronze, Golds, and more Reds,
Reds and Reds are the usual colors of a Bollywood Bride. In all the different
cultures and traditions these ceremonies can become stressful, tiring and skin
dehydrating. Many Specialist Asian Bridal Hair and Makeup Artists have skin
refreshing techniques that will plump the skin and hide or reduce any dark
circles that may have crept up in the coming days of the different ceremonies.
The key element to creating the
Bollywood effect is sculpting the face with heavy contouring. The eyes will be
the center of attraction, with heavy, deep, coloring shadows, sometimes smoked
for an evening ceremony. One of the important aspects to getting the eyes
perfect is to make sure the eyes are lined with a good thick black liner
finished off with dramatic eye lashes.
Creating this look can be quite
difficult so hiring a Specialist in Asian Bridal Hair and Makeup Artist is the
best advice as they will have the knowledge and know how to create these
stunning styles, and especially in creating a well blended eye shadow, perfect
eyeliner and matching those bright, bold colors to match the bridal outfits and
compliment the golden skin tones.
The specialists will also give
advice in which style will suit the bride best, according to the structure and
shape of the face. They will also advise for the perfect styling if the bride
traditionally wishes to wear the scarf on the head or for extensions to be
added to give extra length in true Bollywood style.
The way in which to choose the perfect
Makeup Artist is to talk through all your individual requirements and making
sure all your questions are being fully answered by the artist.
Asian women like to look their best regardless of whether it is a
special occasion or they are just going about their daily routine. By
learning a few easy Asian eye makeup tips you will be able to apply your
cosmetics quickly and easily and will not have to spend more time in
front of a mirror than is strictly necessary.
One of the best
Asian eye makeup tips has to do with color. Color is very important to
any makeup routine regardless of a woman's ethnicity. Remember these two
Asian eye makeup tips. The first is that the color of your eye shadow
should be based on your eye color, not the color of the outfit you are
wearing. The second is that you always want to use a variety of colors
from very light to very dark on your eyes.
It can be hard to tell
what colors look good on your eyes so you may find that some
experimenting is important. However you can use a few basic guidelines
in order to weed out highly unsuitable color choices. In the past, Asian
eye makeup tips recommended matching your makeup color to your eye
color but the current thought is to contrast your eye color and your
makeup color in order to make your eyes really show up. With brown or
hazel eyes you may want to look at colors such as blues, purples or
pinks. Some browns can also look nice but purple will really make brown
eyes pop.
Another of the Asian eye makeup tips you need to learn
is how to use different shades to create a stunning eye area. Most color
kits will include three shades. They are usually a deep color that may
be quite dark, a medium tone and a lighter tone as well. The deep color
is normally used in very small amounts. Using your dark color sparingly
is the most important of the Asian eye makeup tips that you can learn.
Dark eye shadow on small eyes will make them look even smaller and
closer together, which is likely not the look you are going for.
Start
by applying the light color over the top of your eye up to the eyebrow.
The darker shade can be used as a liner and in small amounts in the
area where a crease would be. Then, you can use the medium tone all over
the lid and finish it off by blending the two darker colors together to
smooth out lines.
There are two main kinds of cleaning
required for those who use airbrush makeup. The first is cleaning between
application of different makeup; the second is cleaning after completing your
makeup routine. For those new to airbrushing this may seem a little daunting
but it's really no worse than keeping your regular makeup tools clean. Remember,
airbrush makeup guns will not work properly without regular and proper
cleaning. This article will help you cut down cleaning time significantly and
also contains information on the correct cleaning products and tools you should
be using when cleaning the airbrush makeup gun.
Most airbrush makeup kits come with
a branded fluid cleaner. The most important thing is not to use regular tap
water as it contains trace elements and metals that build up in your airbrush
gun over time and will eventually damage or clog it. Use distilled water or
filtered water only. Some airbrush makeup kits also come with a cleaning kit
which contains the right tools (usually brushes of various sizes) as well as
instructions for cleaning the airbrush. For those with an eco-conscience, there
are many chemical free cleaners which will be up for the job of cleaning your
airbrush gun. Look for a cleaner that is non-toxic, food-grade, hypoallergenic
and pH balanced.
There are two main types of airbrush
makeup: silicone-based makeup and water-based makeup. As you might imagine, the
former is harder to clean. The main parts of the airbrush gun that you need to
focus on are the needle/nozzle area and the cup area. The cup is the region where
you drip in makeup and the nozzle is where the makeup is sprayed out of the
gun.
Using a Q-tip (or cleaning brush)
wipe out residual makeup which will be inside the cup. Always be careful not to
damage the needle which is just below the area you are cleaning. This step will
not clean all the makeup out so you must then rinse with distilled water or
cleaner by 'back bubbling'. Back bubbling is the technique used to mix makeup
where the trigger is pressed half-way causing some air to bubble up into the cup
causing the makeup to mix together. If you do this with just water alone, the
bubbling effect will have a physical cleaning action and will effectively rinse
out the airbrush gun. To back bubble, block the nozzle of the airbrush gun
either with your finger or a nozzle cap (provided with some airbrush makeup
kits) and pull back the trigger which will cause air to escape through the cup
(as opposed to the nozzle). You may have to repeat this two or three times
before the makeup is fully rinsed out and only clear water/cleaner comes out of
the airbrush gun.
Don't forget, distilled water is
better than tap water because it is free from minerals like calcium which will
cause a residue build up over time.
Now you must clean the needle. Do
this by removing it according to the manufacturer's instructions and wipe off
any excess makeup. I highly recommend using a lint free cloth for this as
cotton wool or q-tips may tear or leave bits of material inside the airbrush.
A cleaning technique that most
airbrush makeup artists use is to soak their airbrush overnight or while they
are not using it. Some manufacturers actually sell special cups, or 'docking
jars', designed for this purpose and will fit your airbrush perfectly. The
airbrush gun must be soaked in distilled water and be face down. You'll find
that the excess makeup will have been diluted in the water and, since the
airbrush is immersed in liquid, the makeup will never harden inside the
components.
Every now and then it doesn't hurt
to do a maintenance clean of the nozzle. The back-bubbling technique should
form part of every airbrush makeup artists' routine as should regular soaking
in a docking jar. You don't have to disassemble and reassemble the airbrush
every time you use it, but keep in mind that the cleaner the airbrush gun the
better it works and the longer it will last.
